The Chair! The chair is called - The Chair!
The chair was designed by Hans.Wegner in 1949. Wegner's designs all set the highest requirements for the user experience, which is comfort and compactness. The back of the chair is designed to be large and connected to the armrests, as if embracing the user. The gap separating the leather seat and the back of the chair creates elegance, saving on form but not losing the comfort when sitting on the chair.
That's why in 1961, during the election campaign of John. Kennedy & Richard Nixon, which was broadcast live, Kennedy himself requested to use this chair, he wanted a comfortable chair for his aching back. That day, 70 million people admired this chair. After Kennedy, this chair won the hearts of many politicians, so it was often used for high-level meetings. Besides, the advantage of not being picky about the space used has helped this chair become more popular all over the world.
Wegner originally named the chair PP503, however, with its elegant, unique and historical design, Americans have given it a new name - The Chair.
